There’s an increasing body of evidence showing nutrition, gut health, + diet are inextricably linked with mental health + immune function. It can take up to 20 years before symptoms show up in the physical body so it’s important to protect our health by being proactive, conscious, + intentional about our nutrition + lifestyle choices. The good news is it’s never too late to start making improvements in our health by taking small, incremental steps. The body is designed to heal and we can stabilize, reverse, + even prevent disease if we support our body with nutrients + protect our cellular health. I take the belief + approach that natural food is medicine.

Mental health + nutrition influence each other in a feedback loop that can spiral into a vicious cycle or a positive feedback loop that creates greater health, vitality, + energy. In working together, we’ll change the direction of that loop from a vicious cycle to a positive cycle and by doing so, increase your physical + mental health + wellbeing. I offer integrative + holistic functional nutrition education, guidance, + support to heal the mind, body, + soul.

Functional nutrition, gut health, + immunity interact in a complex system that influences our hormones + neurotransmitters, + therefore our mood + function of our brains. Even with high quality, unprocessed organic foods, our food today does not possess the same nutritional content as it once did because the soil is no longer as nutritive.

We must now supplement that lost nutrition through vitamin amino acids, but not all vitamins + amino acids are created equal. You not only need to know which vitamins + amino acids to take, you also need to know which forms your body will effectively absorb + which brands provide the highest quality formula so they’ll actually work. The subsequent months are dedicated to seamlessly integrating these lifestyle + nutritional transformations should you need ongoing accountability, guidance + support to maintain your improved health results.
